Membership Costs
Join us and Learn to Dive!The first year costs £295.50 - this includes access to the Central YMCA gym, BSAC membership and insurance, all basic and further training, manuals and course notes, and subscription to BSAC's monthly DIVE Magazine. Each subsequent year costs £165.50 - there are no further training costs once you are a YDIVE member. There is a reduction of £93.50 per year from these costs if you already have membership of the Central YMCA that allows you access to the pool on Tuesday evenings. Membership Costs for Qualified DiversIf you already hold a diving qualification, your membership will probably cost even less! We use a sliding scale to calculate the fees you pay. Divers in and around London are invited to the London Festival of Diving on Sunday 2 December at the London Welsh Centre, 157-163 Gray's Inn Rd, WC1 a full-on day of kit, speakers, workshops and socialising. The centre is a ten minute walk from King's Cross station or Russell Square tube, and a whole day's entertainment can be had for £6.
BSAC is campaigning with the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) for the creation of marine reserves in UK seas. The "Marine Reserves Now!" partnership will be launched at the London International Dive Show, over the weekend of the 10th and 11th March 2007.
London Region BSAC is organising a social at the Novotel hotel, 100 Euston Rd NW1 on Sat 2 Dec, from 7.30pm - midnight.
