Membership Costs


Join us and Learn to Dive!

You must be a member of the Central YMCA gym to use the pool - please see their website for further details. Membership to YIDVE costs £205 - this includes BSAC membership and insurance, all basic and further training, manuals and course notes, and subscription to BSAC's monthly DIVE Magazine.

Each subsequent year costs £75 - there are no further training costs once you are a YDIVE member.

Membership Costs for Qualified Divers

If you already hold a diving qualification, your membership will probably cost even less! We use a sliding scale to calculate the fees you pay. Full details can be found in the following document:

YDIVE - 30th Anniversary

The Central London YMCA Sub-Aqua Club (you can see why it was renamed YDIVE) is celebrating its 30th birthday this year. Plans are being put in place for a Sunday Lunch in London on October 12th with as many of the previous branch members as can be traced.

London Festival of Diving 2007

Divers in and around London are invited to the London Festival of Diving on Sunday 2 December at the London Welsh Centre, 157-163 Gray's Inn Rd, WC1­ a full-on day of kit, speakers, workshops and socialising. The centre is a ten minute walk from King's Cross station or Russell Square tube, and a whole day's entertainment can be had for £6.

MCS joins forces with the BSAC to demand Marine Reserves Now!

BSAC is campaigning with the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) for the creation of marine reserves in UK seas. The "Marine Reserves Now!" partnership will be launched at the London International Dive Show, over the weekend of the 10th and 11th March 2007.
